History of AdvantEdge
AdvantEdge Business Centers was founded in 1988 by Prakash Gavri (President). AdvantEdge began as Washington Executive Services, Inc. at our West End location (1250 24th Street NW) with 20,000 square feet of office space. In 1990, Prakash opened a second office suite in the Chevy Chase Pavilion and created Chevy Chase Executive Services, Inc. This center began with 11,000 square feet of space. AdvantEdge Business Centers was created in 2004, and both centers now operate under this brand.
Expansion & Renovation
Both of our centers have grown considerably since their foundation, most notably our Chevy Chase location. This center has more than tripled its size, expanding from 11,000 square feet to its current size of 34,500 square feet. Our West End center now includes the entire third floor of the building, and measures 28,214 square feet. Both locations underwent considerable renovation in 2005. All of the common areas were updated with new furnishings and artwork in order to create a more modernized and sophisticated look. The renovation also served to increase the functionality of the space for our clients and staff members.
