6 Things To Be Thankful for in the Workspace

It is the season of giving thanks, and at AdvantEdge, there is so much to be thankful for in the workspace. Work is often lower on the gratitude list, but the right office space can make a huge difference in one’s happiness. We typically spend at least 40 hours a week working- it is a major part of our lives! Here are six things to be thankful for in the workplace this year:

1. Support Staff

We are endlessly thankful for staff that provides services that allow us to focus on work, and not get bogged down with other tasks. Need a notary? A package signed for? Calls directed elsewhere while in a meeting? The client services coordinators and the whole workspace team are ready to assist with any of your needs.

2. Culture of Community

AdvantEdge Community Purple

Work is just a place to sit without an element of community. Working with like-minded professionals brings joy into the workday! Whether going to events, meeting for coffee in the lounge, or building lasting professional connections and friendships, the workspace community is something we hold near and dear to our hearts.

3. Flexible Options

In a shared workspace, your business’ potential is limitless. As your team and needs grow, so can your space and services. The ability to book meeting room space, expand offices, utilize pro-working rooms, and add on services is something that we are thankful for in a shared workspace.

4. Lounge Access

Access to full-service areas with coffee, tea, a kitchen, and places to rest, recharge, and gather is something to be thankful for! Lounge spaces can help one save money, hit wellness goals, and provide a space for community gatherings… or some alone time when needed. Plus, no one judges if you head to the espresso machine for the third time in the day.

5. Technology

Technology in the workspace is rapidly evolving, especially after the pandemic brought about more remote and hybrid work solutions. A space that matches the times we are in is essential. Ditch the work travel with the ability to host meetings with state-of-the-art video conferencing services. Or, take advantage of the printing center, call answering services, presentation rooms, and on-demand support staff. Together, we conquer any concerns!

6. Neighborhood

Location is everything. Where you work can have a massive impact on your quality of life! We are grateful for workspaces convenient to public transportation, surrounded by shops, and near plenty of tasty lunch spots.

What are you grateful for in your workspace this year? Sound off in the comments!
