
In March, we decided that it was unsafe to have our staff working in the office at a full-time capacity, so our team began answering and forwarding calls remotely. Sending, receiving and forwarding mail is a crucial aspect of our service which requires an AdvantEdge team member being on-site. We created a modified schedule that would ensure that all of our clients would still receive the consistent mail service they relied on, while minimizing the exposure to risk for our staff.
Now that our team is beginning to return to the office, we have established a new normal that is centered around community safety. We have installed touchless faucets in all of our kitchens and have a staff member cleaning kitchen and common areas multiple times per hour. We are also requiring all guests to provide 24-hour advanced notice, and to wear masks at all times while they are in our space. Thorough cleanings are also being conducted in between each use of our meeting rooms and at the beginning and end of every day.
As we deal with COVID-19 and its impacts on our society, we are cognizant of the reality that each individual will have different anxieties and comfort levels.
