We all want to stay focused and energized during the workday, especially when we're teleworking. Taking a moment to consider our mental health and sometimes even taking little breaks during the workday helps us remain productive and positive. Here are a few easy ways to get a quick energy boost:


1.Clean your work area. This gives your eyes a quick break from staring at your computer screen, and having a more organized workspace allows you to focus more clearly.


2. Stay hydrated. Drinking cold water helps to activate your system and combat dehydration, which can make you drowsy. Also refilling your cup or water bottle is a great excuse to take a quick walk!


3. Smile! Seriously, laughter is scientifically proven to boost your energy and morale. Take a break for 5 minutes to catch up with a friend or colleague or watch a funny baby animal video.
