September 11th, 2001. On this day we witnessed something beyond comprehension...filled with grief, we now remember the loss of almost 3,000 people who were killed in an act of terrorism against the United States.
Our lives stood still as the Twin Towers were struck by two planes deliberately flown into them at the World Trade Center in New York, one plane hitting the Pentagon outside of Washington, DC and one plane crashing into a field in Pennsylvania. On this day we observe Patriot Day for acts of heroism and sacrifice. We will never forget.
