What is this?
EdgeTalks is a speakers series that AdvantEdge has been hosting for several years for our community members. The series has featured a variety of presenters, from within and outside of the AdvantEdge community. Under normal circumstances, EdgeTalks provide a chance for us to gather over lunch and be entertained or learn something new!
Why attend?
There’s a good chance that by the time you leave an EdgeTalk you will have learned something new, thought about something in a different way, or gotten to know a fellow community member better. In the past few months we have had talks about body language in business, financial planning, supporting family members who are struggling with substance abuse, and a motivational workshop from a former DC firefighter. Join us to learn something new about the world and maybe even yourself!
Who is it for?
You! EdgeTalks are open to all AdvantEdge community members, but if you aren’t an AdvantEdge community member yet and would like to attend, just let us know and we’d be happy to have you. Some of our community members have even been featured in past EdgeTalks and provided inspiring and informative presentations.
Where should I go?
Stay home! Normally, we host EdgeTalks in the larger conference rooms at our facilities, but right now they are all being hosted online. We miss seeing all of our friends and coworkers in-person, but we're grateful that we still have the chance to come together virtually to continue to learn and grow!
