From bike share stations to swiping into the metro with your phone, it has never been easier to get to work at one AdvantEdge’s centrally-located workspaces! Your office location can impact every part of your life, from your evening schedules and time with family to how much you enjoy your job. When searching for office space, the location should be top of mind. Whether you live in Maryland, Virginia, or right here in the District, commuting to an AdvantEdge Workspaces location is hassle-free. No matter your preferred method of transportation, you can get to work easily.

1. Metro Access

This week WMATA announced that you can now use your phone or smartwatch to swipe into the metro! Simply upload your SmartTrip card to your digital wallet to get started. This advancement means you no longer have to panic-search your bag for a rouge card or derail your morning by leaving it on the kitchen counter. Just grab your phone and head out the door!

Both of AdvantEdge’s locations are on metro lines. At Chevy Chase, you can move seamlessly from the underground red line station to your office, which is perfect for those rainy or cold days. At L Street, you are just a short walk from the blue, orange, and silver lines, and about a 10-minute walk from the red line, meaning that no matter what part of the city you are in, you can get to work quickly.

2. By Car

Especially in these times, some of us are wary of public transit. If driving into work is the right solution for you, you’ll find ample parking options at both locations. At Chevy Chase, the garage is attached to the building, or if you live in Ward 3 of D.C., you can always find street parking. Around L Street there are plenty of garages and metered spots out front for when you need to make a quick visit.

3. Take the Bus

No matter where you live in D.C., you can find a bus to take you to AdvantEdge Workspaces. The Friendship Heights bus bay is less than a block away from the Chevy Chase location, and services over 10 routes that criss-cross the city and Maryland suburbs. Over on L Street, you can take the Circulator bus from Northern Virginia, or one of the many routes that run everywhere from the NW corner to SE DC.

4. Use Alternate Methods

If you live closer to AdvantEdge Workspaces, consider walking, biking, or taking a scooter. Both offices are on streets with sidewalks adjacent to neighborhoods, making for a pleasant and often peaceful walk. No large office parks off of the highway for us! You can also access Capital Bikeshare docking stations no matter what office you choose. Plus, they now offer e-bikes, which provide the right amount of electric boost to get you to work. As for scooters, bike lanes in the streets surrounding the locations make it safe to travel- just don’t forget to bring a helmet!

Whether Chevy Chase has the right shared workspace solution for you or L Street offices are calling your name, AdvantEdge Workspaces provides accessible spaces that you’ll enjoy coming to work in each day. Click below to learn more about why you need to make the switch!
