As a part of our mission, AdvantEdge seeks to help our clients achieve their goals, but our dedication to service is not limited to the office. As members of the global community, we seek to do our part every day to enhance our community and our environment through specific initiatives designed to educate, improve, and make the world into a better place. Below are a few specific examples of how AdvantEdge and its staff members partner with global organizations to make a difference.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) campaign is a fundraising competition for communities across the US in which participants raise funds for the benefit of LLS and cancer research. AdvantEdge helped sponsor an employee during her competition, and assisted in raising over $18,000 for LLS through a series of hosted events and gatherings.
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) inspires young people from low-income communities to find their paths to success. Through classroom initiatives and culminating with a business plan competition, NFTE seeks to engage students and give them opportunities to stay in school and realize success. AdvantEdge is a Catalyst-level sponsor for the DC region and, in addition to financial support, provides use of conference spaces and business services to the NFTE program.
